Here are the four video clips on His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa's birthday celebration and the enthronement of Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo in February 2008, on Druk Amitabha Mountain, Kathmandu, Nepal. The production team is working on several video projects right now, hoping to complete all the outstanding video projects soon:

The following transcripts would not have been possible without the help of our 3 volunteers from Germany, Australia and Malaysia: Senge from Germany who did the recording and the encoding into MP3 format, Kunga who helped not only with the editing of the above video clips but also with the transcription on His Holiness's complete explanation of "Jetsunma" and also last but not least, our permanent volunteer, Jigme Sumsang (previously known as "Dekchen Soo") who has been working whenever electricity was available up on Druk Amitabha Mountain to make the rest of the transcripts available. Please note that the transcripts have not been edited by our editorial team in United Kingdom, but His Holiness has approved of the posting on this web for sharing with those who were not able to attend the birthday celebration and Jetsunma's enthronement.

T-Shirts, Aprons and Carry Bags printed with Live to Love logo and Fleece and Sling Bags printed with 800th anniversary logo are now available at our online shop. 10 sets of postcards with 100 designs are also available. Most of these items are sold at minimum margin to encourage friends and followers of the Drukpa Lineage to spread the message of "Live to Love" and to increase awareness of the Lineage being an "800 Year-Old Legacy" which has survived under tremendous pressures and threats of losing its unique and independent identity as well as its purity in spreading the "Spirits of the Great Yogis". We need everyone's help to ensure that the Drukpa Lineage will continue to live on to benefit others and we need all the assistance we can to watch over the interests of the Drukpa Lineage and its masters.

Drukpa Publications Pvt. Ltd. (DPPL, previously known as International Drukpa Publications) started its operations unofficially in 1987 from a small rented office in South Delhi with three part-timers transcribing teachings of His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa. For the next 10 years, the staff and volunteers at DPPL continued to transcribe teachings and provide Tibetan translation support to the various spiritual practice centers of the lineage.

As time is increasingly more sophisticated and as more teachings of the Buddha are becoming available in the forms of books, audio CDs and videos, His Holiness is now gradually expanding DPPL's team in the West and the Orient. Transcribed teachings which used to kept in files as archives, are now available in books and The Dragon magazines. Tibetan astrological lunar calendars commissioned by His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa based on the Drukpa Lineage's very own astrological calculations, which were only available in Tibetan, are also available in English and now in its 8th year of production. Videos and audio CDs have also been produced as a way to spread the Great Wisdom of the Drukpa Lineage's forefathers and its living masters in the modern world.

DPPL now shares office with Pel Drukpa Charitable Trust in the suburb of New Delhi, and absorbs all the office and administration expenses incurred by the Trust. As His Holiness wishes DPPL to be financially independently without asking for donations, every purchase that you make directly through DPPL online store or indirectly through DPPL's distributors worldwide, will help DPPL pay for office expenses and for its hefty production costs.

The office now has three full-time staff to help with the administration and production activities, as well as operations of the Pel Drukpa Charitable Trust. There are also a few volunteers, who are followers of His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa, coming from their home countries to the office from time to time to assist the functions.

His Holiness has set a three-year program for the production and marketing team. This program would be impossible to achieve without the help of all the volunteers who are involved in the production process, and the support of the various centers, bookstores and individuals who purchase DPPL's items.

His Holiness the Twelfth Gyalwang Drukpa and masters of the Drukpa Lineage wish to express their gratitude to all the staff and volunteers of DPPL, for helping out with the production and marketing activities. At the present moment, DPPL's volunteers are based in the United Kingdom, France, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Mexico and Venezuela.

There are plans to provide Spanish version of the items published by DPPL. The Spanish-speaking volunteers in Mexico and Venezuela are working very hard towards achieving this goal.

  • A new website, Drukpa Media Channel (DMC www.drukpa.tv) is presently under construction. Managed by DPPL, DMC will publish online news on the activites of the Drukpa Lineage and its masters, as well as making videos and news clips in flash file format. DMC website will be launched in the fourth week of March.
